This work is important to determine how far the industry can go to reduce the first cost of hydro installations. to the extent that these concepts can introduce pre-approved mitigations it would be really beneficial. It would be good for all to create solutions for siting and environmental issues addressed with the approved technology and not multi-year field studies, mitigation development, negotiations, and final application.
